"The Sterling served Britain reliably in many regiments, including SAS, Parachute Regiment, various infantry and logistic regiments. It was an outstanding weapon of its type, it could and did operate in any climate or condition in the world.
It served very well in the jungles of Malaya and Borneo, the deserts of the Middle East and Northern Ireland. The Falklands was the last war (as such) she served in as an issue weapon.
