Description

The Victorinox Swiss Modern paring knife combines a 10cm ice-tempered stainless blade with a sage-green synthetic handle for a solid contemporary kitchen essential. The slightly longer blade suits both in-hand peeling and board work. Dishwasher safe and NSF-certified, it delivers Swiss reliability at a great price point.

Swiss Everyday

Grab it from the knife block for the morning grapefruit—supreme each segment with clean arcs, then pare a curl of lemon zest for your tea. The 10cm blade reaches where a chef knife can't, yet sits on the board with confidence for garlic and shallots.

Reliable, colourful, and always the first knife you reach for.

Ice-Tempered Edge

Victorinox ice-tempers each blade to achieve consistent hardness across the full cutting edge, a process that reduces internal stress and extends sharpness between honings.

The sage-green synthetic handle is moulded from a food-safe polymer that resists heat, stains, and detergent—designed to look as fresh after a thousand dishwasher cycles as on day one.

Looking After Your Blade
Keep your blade in top nick. Give it a rinse and dry after each use to stop corrosion. Every now and then, rub a thin coat of mineral oil along the blade. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a steady angle. Store it in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip — never chucked loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, give it a wipe after cutting acidic foods. For folding knives, clean out the pivot and pop a drop of lubricant in to keep it opening smoothly.
