Description
The Hogue EX-A01 automatic knife is built for hard yakka — a thick CPM154 blade fires open via a push-button mechanism and locks with a solid plunge lock that inspires complete confidence under load.
Aggressively textured black G10 handle scales over an aluminium frame provide a grip that refuses to slip even in wet or gloved hands, with a lanyard hole and deep-carry pocket clip.
A top-rated tactical automatic knife for professionals and hard-use enthusiasts who need an auto that performs as well on duty as it does in the field.

**Built for the Worst Day**
Grip the textured G10 and feel the knife become an extension of your hand — even soaked in rain or caked in grime, the aggressive checkering locks your fingers in place while the blade does its work.
Deploy the blade with a press that delivers audible confirmation of lockup, then drive it through rope, webbing, or heavy cardboard with the confidence that comes from a knife built heavier and stronger than the task demands.
**From Paso Robles with Resolve**
Hogue Knives manufactures the EX-A01 in Paso Robles, California, applying the same precision machining and quality obsession that made their firearm grips an industry standard.
The G10 scales are CNC-contoured from compressed fibreglass laminate — impervious to moisture, chemicals, and temperature extremes — then textured with an aggressive pattern designed in consultation with military and law enforcement end users.

Looking After Your Blade
Keep your blade in top nick. Give it a rinse and dry after each use to stop corrosion. Every now and then, rub a thin coat of mineral oil along the blade. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a steady angle. Store it in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip — never chucked loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, give it a wipe after cutting acidic foods. For folding knives, clean out the pivot and pop a drop of lubricant in to keep it opening smoothly.
