Description

The Bark River Bravo 1 is a top-tier hunting knife favoured by serious bush types for its CPM-3V blade — a steel delivering extraordinary toughness and edge retention well beyond conventional hunting knife steels. The convex grind powers through game and wood alike. Green canvas Micarta handles give you an all-weather grip that only gets better with use.

**The Last Knife You'll Need** Deep in the bush, miles from the nearest track, the Bravo 1 is the blade that does it all. Baton kindling, dress game, feather tinder, get a feed going — the convex edge keeps working long after lesser steels have given up.
**Escanaba Craftsmanship** Hand-finished by master craftsmen in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, each Bravo 1 is ground on a slack belt to achieve its legendary convex edge. CPM-3V is a Crucible Industries powder metallurgy steel that delivers three times the toughness of D2 with superior edge retention.

Looking After Your Blade
Keep your blade in top nick. Give it a rinse and dry after each use to stop corrosion. Every now and then, rub a thin coat of mineral oil along the blade. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a steady angle. Store it in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip — never chucked loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, give it a wipe after cutting acidic foods. For folding knives, clean out the pivot and pop a drop of lubricant in to keep it opening smoothly.
