Description

The Cold Steel Tiger karambit is a purpose-built fixed blade with a full-tang AUS-8A stainless steel hawkbill blade designed for maximum hooking and cutting efficiency. Uncompromising Grip The Kray-Ex handle contours lock your hand into position — the finger ring gives you absolute retention while the deeply checkered surface grips even when wet. The AUS-8A hawkbill sweeps through paracord, zip ties, and webbing with the aggressive hooking action that makes the karambit geometry so devastatingly effective as a utility tool.
Cold Steel's Unbreakable Promise Cold Steel's Tiger karambit is engineered to exceed expectations — every design element serves a functional purpose. AUS-8A stainless steel is selected for its combination of toughness and corrosion resistance, then heat-treated to 57–58 HRC for reliable edge performance. The full-tang construction means the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel, eliminating any chance of failure under stress.

Looking After Your Blade
Keep your blade in top nick. Give it a rinse and dry after each use to stop corrosion. Every now and then, rub a thin coat of mineral oil along the blade. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a steady angle. Store it in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip — never chucked loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, give it a wipe after cutting acidic foods. For folding knives, clean out the pivot and pop a drop of lubricant in to keep it opening smoothly.
