Description
The Emerson Super Karambit is the definitive folding karambit from the man who popularised the design in the Western world. The 9cm 154CM stainless steel hawkbill blade deploys via the patented Emerson Wave feature for instant opening from the pocket. Textured black G10 handle scales over a titanium liner lock with an oversized finger ring create a karambit that's as formidable closed as it is open.

The Original Wave
Draw and deploy in a single motion — the wave catches the pocket seam and the 154CM blade locks open before the knife clears your jeans. Ernest Emerson designed this karambit from decades of martial arts and real-world feedback, and it shows: the ergonomics are intuitive, the ring locks your grip, and the hawkbill blade handles utility tasks with the same authority it brings to training drills.
Made in America, Proven Worldwide
Every Emerson Super Karambit is manufactured in their Los Angeles facility using American-made 154CM stainless steel — a premium chromium-molybdenum alloy chosen for its exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. The G10 handle scales are hand-textured for maximum traction, and the titanium liner lock is hand-fitted to each blade for a lockup that inspires absolute confidence.

Looking After Your Blade
Keep your blade in top nick. Give it a rinse and dry after each use to stop corrosion. Every now and then, rub a thin coat of mineral oil along the blade. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a steady angle. Store it in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip — never chucked loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, give it a wipe after cutting acidic foods. For folding knives, clean out the pivot and pop a drop of lubricant in to keep it opening smoothly.
