Description
Felco's 3.90 hawkbill pruning knife is built for viticulturists and tree-care specialists. The hardened steel blade curves for aggressive pull-cuts through woody stems, and the liner lock keeps the blade rock-solid during heavy work.

The Vinedresser's Edge
Hook the curved blade around a vine shoot and pull — the cut is clean, the plant unharmed.
Row after row, the locked blade never lets you down, keeping pace with your expertise.
Engineered in the Swiss Jura
Felco heat-treats each blade in Les Geneveys-sur-Coffrane to exacting Swiss standards.
The elastomer-inlaid handle soaks up vibration, cutting down fatigue during all-day pruning.

Looking After Your Blade
Keep your blade in top nick. Give it a rinse and dry after each use to stop corrosion. Every now and then, rub a thin coat of mineral oil along the blade. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a steady angle. Store it in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip — never chucked loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, give it a wipe after cutting acidic foods. For folding knives, clean out the pivot and pop a drop of lubricant in to keep it opening smoothly.
