Description
The Thaitsuki Nihonto Roiyaru represents the pinnacle of production battle ready katanas, hand-forged from 1075 high-carbon steel with meticulous attention to blade geometry. The 73cm blade delivers devastating cutting power while maintaining the elegance expected of a nihonto-inspired sword. Premium iron tsuba, copper habaki, and genuine rayskin tsuka reflect a commitment to authenticity.

Own the Cutting Floor
The Roiyaru answers every movement with precision — from the first draw to the final chiburi, the blade tracks true through every angle of attack. The generous 73cm blade generates formidable cutting momentum while the meticulously balanced tsuka keeps you in complete control, turning each practice session into a masterclass in Japanese swordsmanship.
Nihonto-Inspired Excellence
Thaitsuki's master smiths hand-forge each Roiyaru blade using techniques passed down through generations of Thai-Japanese swordmaking collaboration. The 1075 carbon steel is selected for its ideal balance of hardness and resilience, then fitted with hand-cast iron tsuba featuring traditional botanical motifs and copper habaki precision-fitted to the blade.

Looking After Your Blade
Keep your blade in top nick. Give it a rinse and dry after each use to stop corrosion. Every now and then, rub a thin coat of mineral oil along the blade. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a steady angle. Store it in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip — never chucked loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, give it a wipe after cutting acidic foods. For folding knives, clean out the pivot and pop a drop of lubricant in to keep it opening smoothly.
