Every Morning, Every Loaf The wavy edge bites into the morning baguette with zero effort — no sawing, no tearing, just clean slices that fall in uniform rows ready for the toaster or the board. The Victorinox bread knife is the unsung hero of the kitchen drawer, the blade you reach for more than any other, performing flawlessly through years of daily service without ever needing attention.
Swiss Engineering at Every Price Victorinox proves that Swiss precision doesn't require a premium price. The stainless steel blade is cold-stamped and tempered in their Ibach facility using the same quality standards applied to their iconic Swiss Army knives. The wavy serrations are computer-designed and factory-set to a geometry that grips crusts without tearing soft interiors — a design that stays sharp for years of daily use.

Looking After Your Blade
Keep your blade in top nick. Give it a rinse and dry after each use to stop corrosion. Every now and then, rub a thin coat of mineral oil along the blade. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a steady angle. Store it in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip — never chucked loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, give it a wipe after cutting acidic foods. For folding knives, clean out the pivot and pop a drop of lubricant in to keep it opening smoothly.
