Description
The Musashi battle ready katana delivers exceptional cutting performance with its 1095 high-carbon steel blade, differentially hardened to produce a genuine hamon line. The 71cm blade features a shinogi-zukuri geometry optimized for tameshigiri practice. Authentic ray skin samegawa under tightly wound cotton ito provides a secure grip during cutting drills.

The Way of the Blade
Feel the weight settle in your hands as the cotton ito grips your palm — each cut through the tatami mat is precise, the blade singing through the air with centuries of tradition behind every stroke. The Musashi katana transforms practice into meditation, connecting you to the discipline of the warrior arts.

Forged in Fire and Tradition
Each blade is individually forged from 1095 high-carbon steel, differentially hardened using traditional clay tempering to produce a visible hamon line unique to every sword. The ray skin samegawa is hand-selected and wrapped beneath cotton ito using methods unchanged for generations, creating a katana that honors the swordsmith’s ancient craft.

Knife Care & Maintenance
Keep your blade performing at its best. Rinse and dry after each use to prevent corrosion. Apply a thin coat of mineral oil to the blade periodically. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a consistent angle. Store in a sheath, knife roll, or magnetic strip — never loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, wipe after contact with acidic foods. For folding knives, clean the pivot area and apply a drop of lubricant to ensure smooth deployment.
