**Viking Spirit, Modern Edge**
The acid-washed blade looks like it was pulled from an archaeological dig — but the 1095 steel beneath holds an edge that outperforms any museum piece by centuries.
Clip the Kydex sheath to your belt or MOLLE vest and deploy the seax with confidence in any survival scenario, from backcountry campcraft to tactical field operations.

**Where History Meets the Operator**
TOPS designed the Viking Tactics seax in collaboration with former military personnel who wanted a fixed blade rooted in historical precedent but built to modern tactical specifications.
The 1095 carbon steel is hardened to 56-58 HRC and acid-etched in Idaho, producing a matte, non-reflective finish that evokes ancient iron while delivering contemporary cutting performance.

Knife Care & Maintenance
Keep your blade performing at its best. Rinse and dry after each use to prevent corrosion. Apply a thin coat of mineral oil to the blade periodically. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a consistent angle. Store in a sheath, knife roll, or magnetic strip — never loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, wipe after contact with acidic foods. For folding knives, clean the pivot area and apply a drop of lubricant to ensure smooth deployment.
