Description
The Helle Temagami is a Scandinavian hunting knife designed in collaboration with survival expert Les Stroud. The 11cm triple-laminated carbon steel blade combines a hard cutting core with resilient outer layers for field-sharpening ease. The hand-finished curly birch handle is treated with linseed oil for natural weather protection.

**Nordic Wilderness Ready**
The birch handle nestles into your palm like it was carved for your grip alone. In the boreal quiet, the laminated blade carves a feather stick that catches flame on the first spark. This is the knife that belongs in wild places.

**Holmedal Tradition**
Forged in Holmedal, Norway, where Helle has crafted knives since 1932, the Temagami's triple-laminated blade is a Nordic specialty. A hard carbon steel core is sandwich-forged between softer stainless layers — easy to sharpen on a river stone yet capable of holding a keen edge through a full day of field work.

Knife Care & Maintenance
Keep your blade performing at its best. Rinse and dry after each use to prevent corrosion. Apply a thin coat of mineral oil to the blade periodically. Sharpen with a whetstone or honing rod at a consistent angle. Store in a sheath, knife roll, or magnetic strip — never loose in a drawer. For carbon and Damascus steel, wipe after contact with acidic foods. For folding knives, clean the pivot area and apply a drop of lubricant to ensure smooth deployment.
